The West Kirk - JD Wetherspoon

58a Sandgate, Ayr KA7 1BX, UK – 01292 880416

Love going for a walk and heading here for breakfast, service was good and staff friendly, my scrambled eggs and toast were tasty and cooked to perfection. The unlimited tea and coffee were a bonus. Love the bathrooms here, always spotless.

As a bloodhound, I found this Spoons. Lovely setting inside an old church that was built in 1845. Closed in 1981 and since upgraded to a Wetherspoons pub. As with everywhere else in Scotland, you pay with a £10 note and got the guaranteed Scottish £5 note in my change. Now I have to buy another pint with that lol HEY!! Has anyone noticed that the bad reviews to places (not just here) tend to come from people who make only a few reviews (most of which are complaints)?

Our family had a great time at Treehouse. After walking around town it quickly became apparent that this was the it spot and we were not let down. The staff is amazing, they all work together as a team. We were there on a hot day and they had AC which was great. Their menu has something for everyone. We may end up going back tomorrow!

Always love visiting the tree house for a meal, whether it be breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The interior inside is really stylish and unique, you actually feel like your dining in a little tree house! The staff are always so welcoming and friendly even when its really busy. They always make loads of time for you, and are always willing to listen to any requests you may have. The seating layout is lovely and spacious, but one complaint I would have is that the tables are quite close together. The sofas near the windows are much more spacious, better sitting there if you can. Would highly recommend the tree house to anybody who is looking for a fine and reasonably priced dining experience.

Rabbies Bar

23 Burns Statue Square, Ayr KA7 1SU, UK – 01292 262112

Quite a traditional style pub but with a modern feel due to the friendly staff and the multiple televisions for sports. Would be 5 stars if not for the prices being a tad high. £1.80 for a can of juice with a glass and ice is bad for me.

Was there for a reunion, even though extremely busy still managed to get served quick enough at the bar. Bar staff were friendly as we're the locals. Good place for a gathering... Nice space at the back giving you plenty of room to catch up
